Java User Groups (JUGs) are local communities of Java users who get together to share information, resources, and solutions and to network together. The java.net JUGs community contains web pages for physical and virtual JUGs. Many of the user groups have subprojects that are used for topics they are studying or applications they are developing. The Amateur Computer Group of New Jersey (ACGNJ) is a forum for discussing beginner, intermediate, and advanced level Java programming. Topics will primarily focus on developing useful/practical applets and applications, but can include related topics such as Java I/O, JavaBeans, Reflection, object-oriented programming and software design issues. Meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at the Scotch Plains Rescue Squad second floor meeting hall starting promptly at 7:30pm.

This Java User's Group would focus on Blu-Ray, and other applications of Java to interactive TV, such as OCAP for Cable TV, and GEM-IPTV for IPTV. Like the nightclub in Raymond Chandler's novel, Blu Dahlia is a gathering place to exchange ideas, hire a professional (with or without blackjack), or just find solace after a hard debugging session at the bottom of a cheap bottle of whiskey.
This group is in formation, but we expect to coordinate with SEMUG and the LAJUG. We expect meetings to be held in or near Hollywood, and perhaps be bi-weekly or monthly.

The Boulder JUG meetings are always free and open to the public.
We cover topics related to Java Software Development. This includes APIs, tools, frameworks, dynamic languages, agile practices, and more.
BJUG meets the second Tuesday of each month (or the Tuesday before the DJUG meeting). Meetings begin at 6PM and includes two sessions. The first session is from 6:00 - 7:00 PM. We break from 7:00 - 7:30 PM for Pizza / Drinks and Networking. The second session runs from 7:30 - 9:00 PM. Meetings also include a few minutes for announcements; such as, job openings and other events.
